Your router will be the default gateway if not then your machine will not have internet connection and only limited access (Local Only). Also what is the make/model of your router? Some router models support a feature which blocks ICMP requests (Ping) therefore it could be possible that you are experiencing this.

From the client. Can you ping the default gateway? -I see it is your server. If you can't. Can you ping the pc from the server? -I also see the nic doesn't have a default gateway.
